2009 Gibson L-00 Bozeman 20th Anniversary Edition

In commemoration of 20 years of acoustic production in Bozeman, Montana, Gibson built a limited run of 20 vintage-inspired L-00s, each of which was inlaid with a 20th anniversary pearl Banner on the back of the headstock, and a specially designed label. This is one of those 20 guitars.

Based on a mid 1930’s L-00, this anniversary edition features a red spruce top with X-bracing and hide-glue construction, mahogany back and sides, gloss lacquer finish and a firestripe pickguard. The neck has a full-feeling V-shaped carve and a 1-3/4” nut, gorgeous Madagascar rosewood fingerboard, and 24.75” scale. The tuning machines are custom-made by Waverly. Madagascar rosewood bridge with through-cut bone saddle and vintage cream pins.

The guitar is in excellent condition and has been set-up here in our shop. Frets show mild wear, finish shows very little wear. 100% original throughout.

With a voice that is remarkably similar to an L-00 some 75 years older, this Bozeman-built L-00 captures the raw power and strong mid-range this model is prized for.

With original certificates of authenticity and original hardshell case.
