2011 Weber Diamondback Aged

The Weber Diamondback features a distressed finish to go along with its vintage-inspired design and tone. The instrument is built with a carved red spruce top and figured maple back, thin sating nitrocellulose lacquer satin finish, ivoroid bindings, and a double-cut radiused ebony fingerboard. Fern headstock inlays, Brekke bridge, gold hardware, and label signed by Bruce Weber.

The top is tone-bar braced for power and cut, and hand graduated and tuned. The neck has a comfortable U carve, 1-1/8” nut, and ‘worn-off’ finish for a fast and smooth feel. A lively instrument with good ‘cut’ and excellent volume, the Diamonback is very much akin to the company’s popular Yellowstone model, but with a vintage flair, and the double-cut fingerboard.

This instrument is in excellent condition and has been carefully set-up here at Folkway.
