2012 Collings CJ SB

With its long 25.5” scale, scalloped-braced Sitka top and Indian rosewood back and sides, this CJ marries the best of traditional slope shouldered and Dreadnought tones. It's both loud and subtle, with excellent balance, a strong fundamental, and the mid-range focus we all love in a slope-shouldered dreadnought.

With frets that show well-below-average wear and a fresh Folkway set-up, the guitar plays perfectly. The neck has a full-feeling medium C carve, 25.5” scale and a 1-11/16” nut. Condition is near-perfect, with just one tiny ding on the top’s lower bout to mention.

16” wide slope shoulder body with ivoroid bindings and classy 5-ply top purflings, celluloid and wooden rosette, bound ebony fingerboard and headstock, belly bridge, tortoise celluloid pickguard, bone nut and saddle, ebony pins, and Waverly tuning machines.
