2013 Taylor Baritone-6 Mahogany

If you’re into dark chords on a big guitar, you’ll be into this Taylor Baritone 6. Its mix of low B tuning and Grand Symphony mahogany body is nothing short of spectacular when it comes to tone. The beguiling low resonance and dynamic touch sensitivity combine to create one of the most uniquely expressive instruments in our inventory.

Based on a 2013 Taylor 516ce, the Baritone features a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and side set, all bound in koa and highlighted by black/white/black purflings on the sides and back, and accented by an abalone pearl rosette. The guitar’s neck features a Koa-bound ebony fingerboard with slotted diamond markers. Gold tuners, pearl headstock logo, and bone nut. Gloss body finish, and ES electronics.

The guitar is in excellent condition but for a few small areas along the body edges, neck joint and back strip where the finish has started to delaminate slightly. Frets show very little wear, and there is virtually no playwear to the instrument’s finish. It has been set-up in our shop.
