2015 PRS McCarty Model

This handsome PRS, serial #215818, pays respect to Ted McCarty, President of Gibson Guitars from 1950-1966, whom Paul Reed Smith called in to consult with his company in the 1980's. Ted was a big influence and dear friend at PRS.

The McCarty model features an understated "10 top" flame maple top and thicker-than-usual mahogany body for great sustain. To make "10-Top" status, a PRS top must have clearly defined figure across its entire top.

The 58/15 PRS treble and bass pickups are very responsive and yield excellent clarity with focus in the midrange. The guitar weighs 7 lbs 11oz. and additional appointments include birds fingerboard inlays, bound rosewood fingerboard, push/pull tone control with a 3-way toggle switch and a PRS stop tail bridge.

This guitar is in mint condition, offers incredible diversity of tone and plays beautifully. All original case documents and accessories are included.

With hardshell case.
