2017 Huss and Dalton TD-R

The Huss and Dalton TD-R is the company’s take on a herringbone Dreadnought. It’s an Indian rosewood and Sitka boomer, built with forward-shifted scalloped bracing, a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and pre-WWII herringbone style 28 inspired appointments. An attractive guitar, the TD-R features a celluloid and wood rosette, short-pattern diamonds and squares inlays, herringbone purflings and a zig-zag back strip.

This example is in excellent condition and has been set-up here at Folkway. There is very little playwear to be found anywhere on the instrument.

1-3/4” nut, 2-7/32” bridge pin spacing, 25.4” scale. Rounded neck with a hint of V in the carve. Bone nut and saddle, Waverly tuning machines.
