2017 Martin 00L-17 Whiskey Sunset

Martin’s 00L-17 Whiskey Sunset is a wonderfully light 14 fret model based on the popular CEO-7 platform. The guitar features a mahogany and Sitka body with scalloped X bracing, short scale neck and 1-3/4” nutwidth. This model has sadly been discontinued, but was consistently a shop favorite during its production run thanks to its vintage-y vibe and super-warm and open response to a light/medium attack.

This example is in excellent condition and is perfectly set up for fingerstyle or light flat-picking. The satin finish has shined up a little bit around the pickguard and the back of the neck – but that is the only tell-tale sign that the guitar has been previously owned.

For anyone hungry for an affordable newer guitar that checks off many vintage guitar boxes, the 00L-17 is great option.
