2019 Collings 01 Traditional 12 Fret

A lovely and gently used recent Collings 12 fret 01 Traditional, this smaller guitar offers a wonderful string balance and has a warmer-than-you’d-expect openness. It has a clean and clear fundamental, strong mid-range support, and a bass-response that’s bolder than you’d expect.

Mahogany and Sitka spruce body with tortoiseshell celluloid accents, scalloped braces, and Collings’ Traditional build features including animal protein glue construction, thin Nitro lacquer finish, and 30’s bridge pin spacing and neck taper. 12 fret neck joint, 1-3/4” nut with, 24-7/8” scale, and 2-5/16” string spread at the bridge. Bone nut and saddle, Waverly tuning machines.

The guitar is in near-new condition with negligible wear. It has just been set-up to our specifications here at Folkway.
