2020 Fender Custom Shop Artisan Cocobolo Thinline Telecaster
Equipped with a set of Custom Shop "Hand Wound Loaded 51 Nocaster" pickups this Telecaster offers a rich and open response with a wonderfully full-bodied voice in the bridge and excellent clarity in the neck. These overwound pickups, measuring 9.1K in the bridge position and 7.7K in the neck, push the front end of an amp beautifully while providing greater overall warmth than one might expect from a typical Telecaster. The hollow body construction of the guitar imparts an airy quality to the instrument's voice that blends perfectly with the robust response of the pickups.
This Telecaster features a comfortable and fast '60s neck carve with a first fret depth of 0.808", twelfth fret depth of 0.967", and Fender's classic 1-5/8" nut width. With unworn 6105 frets and a 9.5" fingerboard radius, the guitar delivers remarkably good playability that’s designed for the the modern player. Weighing in at 6lbs 7oz, this guitar is light enough be played comfortably for hours on end.
