2020 Fender Custom Shop Ltd 60's Thinline Telecaster Journeyman Relic
At 6.0lbs, this is one heck of lightweight Telecaster. It’s got incredible acoustic resonance as a result, and a touch-sensitive, dynamic, and responsive plugged-in tone. The ’63 spec neck has a great feel, with a perfect mid-depth C carve, and is fretted with light-touch 6105 frets at a 9.5” radius. Neck depth at the 1st fret is .820”, and the nut width is a vintage-standard 1-5/8”.
Fender’s hand-wound ‘Loaded 51 Nocaster’ pickups are lively, responsive and hot, offering snarl-tinged twang with an extra bit of sizzle when you need it. Pickup DC values are 7.7k and 9.2k.
The guitar’s Journeyman relic lacquer finish has a lightly aged patina with crazing and a subtle relic treatment. The instrument remains in excellent condition with very little fretwear, an excellent in-shop set up, and original electronics.
With original hardshell case, COA, Custom Shop floor traveller, and Fender strap.
