Collings 001Mh

Something of a dreamy guitar for us 12 fret mahogany lovers here at Folkway Music, this Collings all-mahogany 12 fret 00 is a remarkable guitar. Harkening back to the all-mahogany 12 fret Martin guitars of the early 1930s, this Collings has the classic dry and open resonance a vintage mahogany 12 fretter is famous for, but with all the playability and intonation advantages of a modern guitar crafted by the most meticulous builders of this era.

South American mahogany body and neck, ebony pyramid bridge, fingerboard, and headstock overlay, tortoise-celluloid bindings and pickguard, bone nut, Waverly tuning machines and gloss lacquer finish. Scalloped braces, short 24.9" scale, round neck carve with 1-3/4" nut-width. The guitar is fantastically comfortable to play, and pretty darn easy to listen to, also!

With hardshell case.
