Collings MT Gloss Blacktop

A devastatingly attractive Collings MT with gloss black top finish, ivoroid binding and sunburst finish over figured maple back and sides. Collings’ workmanship is beautifully accented by this mandolin’s finish work. The carve is beautifully recurved and domed, and their attention to detail is wonderfully highlighted.

This instrument was custom ordered with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, which adds some extra power and clarity to the MT’s already excellent tone. Tone-bar bracing, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, ebony radiused fingerboard and adjustable bridge, bone nut, Gotoh vintage style tuning machines, and pearl Collings logo. 1-1/8” nut width, 13-7/8” scale, rounded V neck carve.

With hardshell case.
