Designed specifically for demanding studio environments, the Ear Trumpet Labs Mabel combines iconic retro-industrial styling with modern, audiophile-grade acoustic engineering. Featuring dual-matched $26\text{ mm}$ large-diaphragm capsules housed in an adjustable pivoting head, Mabel stands apart with switchable polar patterns—cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8. This versatile functionality makes her an extraordinary workhorse for tracking everything from intimate acoustic instruments and rich lead vocals to room ambiance and duet arrangements.

Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon using solid brass, copper, and stainless steel, Mabel’s transformerless FET circuit delivers a remarkably flat frequency response with detailed lows and a silky, smooth top end that never turns harsh. Equipped with internal Sorbothane shock mounting and an integrated pop filter to isolate mechanical noise, Mabel comes packed in a custom foam-lined metal case, ready to elevate any professional recording setup.
