Iris MS-00 Deep Body Rosewood / Adirondack
The sides on this model taper from 3-7/8” at the heel to 4-3/4” at the endpin, which is similar to many Dreadnought side depths. The extra air volume in the body that this deep side design adds lends itself to a lower resonant pitch, and a stronger bass without compromising the 00-sized full-bodied trebles. It’s a great thing.
Red spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, tapered and scalloped red spruce braces. Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, 24.75” scale, 1-3/4” nut, and .917” depth at the 1st fret. Bone nut and saddle, vintage style tuners, thin satin lacquer finish with vintage stained sunburst.
With hardshell case
