Taylor Builder's Reserve VII Tenor Ukulele

For their Builder's Reserve Series, Taylor selects from their finest tonewoods, stashed and guarded in their "Private Reserve." Each Builder's Reserve Series model is made in very limited quantity, and features a design otherwise unavailable in the standard model lineup. The Builder's Reserve VII juxtaposes the modern and vintage with this all-mahogany tenor Ukulele, finished in a gorgeously deep tobacco sunburst.

The Series VII is exquisite. Very finely made, with hand-worked touches and light construction, the ukulele is breathtaking to behold and play. The body and neck is made of South American mahogany, bound in ivoroid and finely purfled with white and black lines. Sunburst finish to all sides, ebony headstock overlay with an ivoiroid inlaid logo. Featuring a highly polished bone nut and compensated saddle, ebony fingerboard with ivoroid 'Heritage Diamond' inlay, and ebony bridge.

This Tenor Ukulele is Taylor's first all-mahogany ukulele. It's a very lightly built and responsive instrument with a beautifully understated aesthetic. Hand carved Adirondack spruce braces, 17-1/4" scale, 1-7/16" nutwidth, Gotoh Stealth geared micro-tuners.

With Taylor hardshell case

Only 50 of these were produced for Taylor dealers world-wide.
