1957 Gibson J-50

Gibson guitars that are nearly 50 years old and in such fine condition aregetting harder and harder to find. This J-50, built it 1957 has only atrace of playwear and fretwear. It is in crack-free condition with theusual exception of a repaired pickguard crack. Full-height originalBrazilian rosewood bridge, original saddle, nut, bridge pins, pickguard.Tuners are period-correct single-line Klusons, but don't completely hide theslight foot print of the incorrect ones that were on this instrument when itarrived. 3 Replaced tuner buttons (we did the work, and they areindistinguishable from the originals). Great looking finish, attractiveBrazilian rosewood fingerboard; great feeling '50s neck profile. Verycomfortable action. And then there's the way it sounds... pure Gibsongoodness! Round full trebles, awesome bass response, and lots of volume.
