1965 Fender Princeton

1965 Fender Princeton

A crazy-clean and original Fender Princeton from late 1965. Speaker dated 14th week of ’65, transformers are from 39th and 48th week of ’65, original RCA 6V6 GT tubes are from July of ’64, and the Amperex 5AR4 rectifier is from early 1965. Apart from a grounded AC cord the amp is unmodified, with original signal, bias, and filter caps. Very clean tolex, grill, faceplate, and handle. Tube chart is dated December of 1965, and indicates that this amp is from the 4th production run of AA964 Princetons.

It’s in perfect working order and sounds quite remarkably good. Plenty of clean headroom, and enough volume to play with a drummer and get full access to the volume control range. A perfect amp to load with pedals.
