2001 Martin D-35

This 20 year old Martin D-35 has opened up well and developed a warm bass end and full sounding mid-range. It’s a great strummer, and an excellent guitar to sing along with – which is what made the D-35 so popular after its introduction in the late 1960s. The D-35 was designed with lighter top bracing that’s ¼” wide, rather than the standard 5/16” width of other Martin dreadnoughts, which allows the top to vibrate more freely under an average pick attack.

This example is in excellent condition but for one New Year’s Eve party worth of aggressive playwear on the top. It’s hardly been used since. It’s a perfect candidate for someone who plans to add more pickwear of their own!

Set-up perfectly here at Folkway, 100% original, and otherwise only very lightly used.
