2004 Morgan Jumbo

Similar to a Larrivée J-05 Jumbo, the Morgan Jumbo offers upgraded tonewoods and trim and a tasteful pearl-and-abalone headstock inlay. At nearly 17” wide and almost 5” deep at the endpin, the Jumbo is roughly the size of a Gibson J-200. And like the J-200, this guitar offers a huge and warm bottom end, excellent volume, and a quick response to a light touch. An excellent strummer and a surprisingly good fingerstyle guitar, this Morgan Jumbo is a versatile flat top.

The neck has a long 25.6” scale, D-shaped carve and 1-3/4” nut width. First fret neck depth is .810”, and string spread at the saddle is 2-3/16”.

Symmetrical tapered X braced Sitka top, mahogany back and sides, curly maple bindings highlighted by Morgan’s trademark turquoise purflings. Pearl rosette, faux tortoise pickguard, ebony bridge with ebony pins, and gloss finish.

The guitar remains in excellent condition and shows very little playwear.
