2006 Gibson LG-2 ¾ Arlo Guthrie

Serial # 02876015. A faithful recreation of the ¾ sized LG-2 ¾ models of the 1950's (which were, themselves recreations of the Kalamazoo Sports built 20 years prior) the Arlo Guthrie features a very-mini J-200 body shape with a lower bout measuring just 12-3/4" across. The neck is short scale to match (24") and the nut width measures just shy of 1-5/8". Originally built to be a kid's guitar and priced low, these instruments featured ladder bracing and simple appointments. It would have made more sense for Gibson to call them LG-1 ¾. This example is in near perfect condition. There are very minor finish chips on the top corners of the headstock, but no other wear or damage of any kind. The setup was done here, and the guitar plays easily. It's a small ladder braced guitar, so don't expect a D-28. Fun to play, great bluesy tone.With original hardshell case
