2012 Yanuziello Electric
The guitar offered here features a hollowed alder body and maple top, cream back and matching headstock, chiffon yellow top, and about the coolest looking back-painted acrylic pickguard ever imagined. The neck is carved from highly figured hard-maple, capped with an ivoroid-bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Joe custom machines and nickel-plates his own hardware, and has his single-coil pickups custom wound in the style of the late 1950's DeArmonds that make Harmony Strat-o-Tones sound as good as they do.
The instrument is feather-weight and highly resonant, it's a dreamy experience to play, made more so by the carve of the neck. It's a shallower take on a mid 50's Gibson profile, with 1-11/16" nut, 24.7" scale. In near-mint condition, the instrument shows only light playwear to its frets and minor arm-wear to its top's finish. Beautifully set-up in our shop, the guitar is simply a delight to play.
