2017 Retrograde Cambridge
Retrograde's Cambridge model draws on the influence of the catalog guitars built in the 1950s and 1960s. This full-hollow guitar features a 14" wide body that’s wonderfully comfortable. It will feel right at home with players used to the dimensions of a solid body.
Sporting a somewhat rustic hand-rubbed red burst varnish finish over a heavily figured maple body, a unique swooping cutaway design and enlarged F-holes, this Retrograde Cambridge guitar is a visually unique instrument. The guitar has been lightly aged, giving it a broken-in feel and vintage aesthetic. Equipped with a pair of Mojo gold foil pickups, this guitar delivers a rich and defined response in the bridge position, complemented by a warm and airy voice in the neck. With a lightweight body and a comfortable neck carve, this Cambridge is something fun and different to play.
This guitar is in fine condition with little play wear to note. The original frets are largely unworn. A few minor finish blemishes on the back at the treble-side waist, light dents on the top around the bridge pickup and control knobs, and a dent at the neck joint resulting from a slipped flat-head screwdriver are the only flaws of note.
Laminate maple hollow body construction, mahogany neck, Pau ferro fingerboard. Three-bolt neck heel design. Scale length of 24.9". First fret depth of 0.803", twelfth fret depth of 0.867", and a 1-21/32" nut width. Pickup DC readings of 9.4K the neck and 11.4 in the bridge. Weight: 5 lbs 1 oz.
With hardshell case.
