2019 Collings 02H
It's a gorgeous instrument, proportioned beautifully, and dressed up with herringbone purflings, diamonds and squares inlays, and an OM-shaped pickguard. The perfect gloss lacquer finish, ivoroid accents, and zigzag backstrip finish the guitar off tastefully.
Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing, ebony fingerboard and belly bridge, bone nut and saddle, Waverly tuning machines. Nutwidth of 1-11/16”, rounded neck carve with a hint of a vintage profile and a 1st fret depth of .853”, 24.9” scale, and 2-3/16” spacing at the bridge.
This Collings 02H was purchased new from Folkway at the end of 2019 and remains in near-new condition. There is one very tiny ding on the top, but little else to report on. Fresh set-up and strings by our shop.
