c.1920 Martin Style 1 Ukulele

Martin’s Style 1 ukulele featured an all-mahogany body with a rosewood bound top and simple rosette; rosewood 12 fret fingerboard, and Martin & Co. stamp on the back of the headstock. This example is fitted with its original rosewood friction pegs, bar frets, and original boxwood nut and saddle.

This one has been played a lot and shows some heavy wear on the top. There’s a well-repaired side crack, another along the back, and a very short one on the top’s lower bout. Playability and tone are excellent.
