c.1930 Epiphone Recording Model A Tenor
This example has been well played and plays well. Frets and neck angle are excellent, newly replaced Renaissance head and Snuffy Smith bridge (our shop's handiwork), and replacement 5 Star tuning machines make this Tenor a joy to play.
19 fret 23" scale neck, 1-1/8" bone nut, CGDA tuning. Repaired / stable crack in neck heel, finish work to inside-surface of the rim, and outside of resonator. All rim hardware in excellent working order. The instrument plays perfectly and sounds very fine. It has plenty of volume, but has a pleasant warmth thanks to the Renaissance head and Folkway set up.
With newer hardshell case
