Chris Lounsbury L-00

A Masterful creation, Chris Lounsbury's L-00 takes inspiration from a 1930's Gibson, but is sonically and stylistically evolved, bearing this maker's mark in the build details and its clear voice. Lounsbury's attention to detail is awe inspiring, his French polish finish as perfect as a factory-applied lacquer, and his build light and resonant. The guitar sounds huge -- in an L-00 kind of way -- with a wide open mid-range, excellent balance across the Fretboard, and delightful overtones. For a guitar that's but a few months old, the complexity and maturity of the instrument is astounding.

Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, tapered braces, Koa bindings, spalted maple rosette, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Gotoh open-geared tuners, and rosewood headstock overlays (front and rear). The neck has a lowish D profile, 1-3/4" nut, and 24.75" scale.

With deluxe hardshell case.
