Recent Danelectro U-2 ’56 Reissue

Danelectro’s U-2 is a modern recreation of the company’s iconic 50’s U2, but made a whole lot better. These are fairly affordable guitars, so I won’t wax poetic about them much, but I can admit that they’re really fun to play, and have a unique sound that’s a great addition to your arsenal.

This one is in good shape and nicely set up. It has a DIY control cavity cover that’s not original, and has had some wiring work done. It’s possible the pickups have been swapped-out, but we’ve admittedly not investigated. It’s priced at $399 with a gigbag, so we aren’t terribly concerned about originality!

Neck and frets are great, and the guitar plays very easily.
