Santa Cruz 000-29 Lefty

The Santa Cruz 000-29 might be the company's least expensive guitar, but it lacks nothing in tone, if you ask anyone here at Folkway. With their simple appointments, the 29 series instruments were designed to offer the serious tone fanatic the best Santa Cruz sound at the lowest possible price.

The guitar features a bound mahogany body, scalloped braces, simple rosette, pyramid bridge, and a solid headstock. Inlays are limited to the ivoroid logo and side dots. The workmanship and attention to detail are classic SCGC though -- so expect a masterfully built guitar with a phenomenal voice. The 12 fret guitar is very lightly built and super resonant, and contrary to our expectations, the all-mahogany guitar is warm, and richly complex. It's both articulate and smoky, with very full trebles and a bass response that's both articulate and bold. This is a wonderful creation, and it's left handed! 1-3/4" nut, soft V neck, 25.4" scale.

With hardshell case
