1958 Filmosound & Cab

The secret recipe for tone amongst many of our favorite players is a converted Filmosound projector amplifier through a great sounding speaker. Here's a just-converted 6V6 model, offered as a pair or separately with the 8 ohm Celestion Vintage 30 speaker and home-made cab pictured here. The amp is pretty much a narrow panel Fender Tweed Deluxe in disguise, with 15 or so watts of tweedy gain and crunch. It's mated perfectly with the Vintage 30 for a roots-rock kick, but can certainly be used with any 8 ohm speaker cab.
