1963 National Studio 66

Talk about retro-cool. Desert Buff painted (read beige-pink) 16" wideReso-o-glass (read fiberglass) body with single cut-away. Singleplastic-covered pickup in the bridge position, with volume and tonecontrols, adjustable Brazilian rosewood bridge and an elevatedquazi-pickguard area outlined in black paint. 24.75" scale neck, with around C profile and quartered Brazilian rosewood board. Original Klusontuners, raised National headstock badge. Set up in our shop, it playsgreat. The pickup is punchy and bright - something like a cross between aTele, a DeArmond, and a lipstick tube pickup. Lots of fun to play, andstrangely attractive to look at, too. 1-11/16" nut.
